The Minerva Education Foundation & Alumni Assocation acts as a conduit for families and friends who make donations to honor their loved ones. In addition, we have invested more than $1.4 million into endowment funds where income can be awarded every year for scholarships and classroom grants.
We are pleased to announce in 2025 we were able to donate over $85,000 in college scholarships and classroom grants.
Since its inception, there have been 39 Hall of Fame dinners and close to one hundred Minerva High School graduates have been inducted into our Hall of Fame.
In 2022, alumni Larry Seidel was instrumental in creating the Dr. John H. Shaffer Scholarship Fund in honor of the former Minerva Band Director John Shaffer. Scholarships are awarded annually for Minerva band students that demonstrate excellence in the area of instrumental music. You can donate online to that specific fund here.
